Meethotamulla – Lessons Learnt and the Way Forward

TiME organized a panel discussion through its mini-project, "OUTFRONT," to explore the youth perspective on waste management in the country. The event aimed to assess future needs and strategies for waste disposal, providing a platform for youth voices in national development planning. The discussion featured panelists including Ms. Shanika Perera, Curatorial Assistant at Cinnamon Colombo Scope 2017; Kithmina V. Hewage, Research Officer at IPS; and Chinthaka Abeysekera, Chief Executive Officer at Sisili Projects Consortium Pvt. Ltd., specializing in Clinical Waste Management and Green Laundry for Hotels.
