Art of Connecting for Social Change through Raising Human Dignity, a Human Dignity session for the children of ex-service men, who have lost one of their parents due to war, on 7th November, 2016 at BMICH as a part of the WINGS Conference organized by GIZ at the Bandaranike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo. WINGS was a festival and conference where the use of art and culture were given opportunity to strengthen the coexistence and reconciliation efforts in Sri Lanka. TiME took hands with WINGS to use art as a healing mechanism to engage with 30 children of ex-military personnel who have lost one of their parents in war and train them to be change agents in the society to promote reconciliation. The overall objective of the event was to promote dignity as an inherent feature of human life and promote the right to life.
